2015 Project Update

Larger Space in Oakland: Oakland held their first worship service in the new building on Easter weekend 2015.

Permanent Space for Sewickley Valley: Staff moved into their newly renovated Ministry Center and held a worship service the first weekend of October 2015.

Partner Church in Homewood: The most recent plans are for an Easter 2016 launch of the new, independent church.

Thank you to those of you at North Way that are faithfully consistent and generous in your tithes and offerings.  We have committed as leadership that we will be faithful stewards of your obedient giving and we have witnessed God’s blessing! We have asked that you grow in your obedience to bring the full tithe into God’s house and then we use our year-end giving time as an opportunity to be generous out of our abundance. It is from this consistent giving throughout the year coupled with year-end giving that we fuel ministry at each of our locations as well as fund growth initiatives. During last year’s end of year campaign we talked about getting larger in Oakland, creating more of a sense of permanency in Sewickley Valley and establishing a partner church in Homewood. Great news! We moved into our new space in Oakland on Easter weekend 2015, a space just over 2x where we were before. Our Sewickley Valley campus staff moved into their newly renovated Ministry Center space connected to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church on Beaver Street the first weekend of October. From that larger space we are able to conduct ministry throughout the week as we continue to worship at Osborne Elementary each weekend. Our work toward the partner church in Homewood continues as we trust God with Pastor Freedom Blackwell’s health. Celebrating what God has accomplished, we turn our eyes at this year-end toward where God would have us go next in our obedience to His call for North Way to reach 1% of this region for Christ.

Goals for 2016

Campus No. 6: Where is God calling us next?

Transformational Outreach: The first $50,000 will be used to further our Transformational Outreach efforts. To hear a message from Pastor Scott Stevens about Transformational Outreach at North Way, select the button below.

Campus No. 6

As we have prayerfully moved in our multi-site vision, we have seen God transform lives in each of the communities we serve. All glory to God that He is blessing churches all around Pittsburgh and is also breathing life into His vision that North Way reach just 1% of the 2.3 million people in the greater Pittsburgh region! We are humbled by the enormity of reaching even 1%, but emboldened by the stories of people that now know Christ because of God’s calling to each of the five communities in which we now have a campus. Where is God calling us next? Who lives in that community right now that God has already begun to direct a path toward a North Way campus so that when we arrive in His timing, another life can be eternally impacted for His Kingdom? Your consistent tithing and generous year-end giving ensures we will be in a position to move exactly when and where God directs us! Thank you!

Transformational Outreach

We are committing the first $50,000 from your giving this year-end to furthering our Transformational Outreach efforts to bring hope to the orphaned, abandoned and at-risk children of our city and world.  As God leads you to give Immeasurably More, we also commit to increase this amount as we exceed our $750,000 goal.
